Salud incorporates a great many User Definable Parameters to allow each site to configure the system for their own requirements and preferences. These options control all aspects of clinical procedure, student grading, patient administration, financial management and reporting, as well as the way in which authorities and permissions are managed and assigned. This results in Two-Ten’s customers having greater autonomy and ownership of a system that reflects the priorities and processes of their own school, whilst sharing in a growing resource-pool of data and best-practice expertise.
Built for Dental Schools, not Practices
Salud is unique in that it was designed from the outset to manage the interaction of students, faculty and patients. Systems originally built for practice management are not able to place the same emphasis on the student/faculty dimension. Technically, this is reflected in the modular structure of the product, each module providing a view into the relational database relevant to the specific user.
Research-oriented
All Salud data is held within an industry-standard database (SQL or Oracle) and can be accessed via a powerful and flexible MIS suite to produce reports or export data in a variety of formats for external analysis. Two-Ten encourages and supports dialog between schools to standardize coding systems to facilitate collaborative research across schools, across populations and regions, and incorporating practice-based data.

Salud’s flexibility also extends to the choice of hardware – you decide whether you want an Oracle or SQL database, a thick or thin client environment and what third party products you’d like to integrate with Salud from Digital radiology solutions to PDAs – the choice is yours.
